Platelet Rich Plasma Treatments

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a regenerative treatment derived from your own blood, concentrated to deliver a high dose of platelets and growth factors that naturally support tissue repair, collagen production, and healing.

How PRP Works

Your blood is drawn (typically 20-60mL), spun in a centrifuge to isolate PRP—5-10x richer in platelets than normal blood—then precisely injected into target areas like scalp or face. These platelets release bioactive proteins that stimulate stem cells, reduce inflammation, and promote new blood vessel/follicle formation, harnessing your body's innate renewal without foreign substances.

PRP Facial Injections

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) therapy provides a cutting-edge, non-surgical anti-aging treatment that taps your body's own platelets to naturally stimulate collagen production and revive youthful, glowing skin.

By activating your body's natural regeneration, PRP triggers a wave of cellular repair through enhanced fibroblast function and collagen building. This gentle, minimally invasive method tackles surface aging signs like fine lines and uneven tone while improving deeper elasticity and skin structure.

Common areas include under eyes, deep acne scarring, and is also often combined with microneedling.

Expect to start with 3 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart for best results.

PRP Hair Injections

Revitalize thinning hair naturally with PRP scalp injections. Platelet-rich plasma delivers growth factors to awaken follicles, boost scalp health, and reduce shedding—non-surgical, precise, and ideal for early hair loss. Expect thicker, stronger strands over time with minimal downtime. Often combined with microneedling.

Expect to start with 3 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart for best results.

PRP Pre-Treatment Care (Hair & Skin)

1 Week Before Treatment:

  • Avoid blood thinners where possible: Stop non-essential options like aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, fish oil, vitamin E, and similar supplements that heighten bruising risk. For prescription blood thinners, check with your doctor first before changes.

  • Stay well-hydrated: Drink ample water in the lead-up days to enhance blood plasma quality.

  • Cut back on alcohol and caffeine: Limit these to reduce bruising and inflammation chances.

  • Reduce sun exposure: Skip extended time in the sun or tanning beds to avoid pre-treatment irritation (skin); arrive with clean, dry hair free of products (hair).

  • Hold off on active skincare/products: Avoid retinoids, glycolic acid, exfoliants (skin), or hair coloring/chemicals 3-5 days prior (hair).

24-48 Hours Before Treatment:

  • Boost water intake: Good hydration aids blood draw success and plasma optimization.

  • Have a balanced meal: This helps prevent lightheadedness or dizziness.

  • Skip alcohol: It thins blood and raises bruising risk.

  • No smoking or vaping: These impair circulation and recovery.

PRP Post-Treatment Care (Hair & Skin)

  • Keep areas clean and untouched: Don't rub/touch face or scalp to ward off irritation or infection.

  • No makeup/products 24-48hrs: Hold off on makeup, moisturizers, actives (retinol, acids, vitamin C) for skin; no hair gels, sprays, dry shampoo, or styling for scalp.

  • Gentle cleansing only: Use lukewarm water and fragrance-free mild cleanser (face) or sulfate-free shampoo (hair after 24hrs).

  • Hydrate internally: Plenty of water supports collagen and healing.

  • Sunscreen/scalp protection: Apply SPF 30+ (face). Use loose hat if needed (scalp). Sleep head elevated to reduce swelling.

  • Ease back into routine: After 48hrs, add gentle hydrators (skin); resume normal washing (hair). Skip actives/chemicals (retinol, AHAs, hair dye) for 5-7 days.

  • Avoid intense exercise/heat: No heavy sweat, saunas, hot showers 48hrs—heat worsens swelling.

  • No alcohol/smoking/NSAIDs: Unless prescribed, these delay healing.

  • Skip harsh treatments: No scrubs/peels/lasers (skin) or coloring (hair) for 1 week.

  • Limit sun/heat: Avoid direct sun, hot tubs, steam rooms.

Expectations: Mild redness/swelling/tenderness (24-48hrs); pinpoint bruises fade in days. Skin glow builds 4-6 weeks; hair growth 3-6 months.
