Personalized Weight Management Support with a Naturopathic Doctor
Evidence‑informed care for adults struggling with stubborn weight, fatigue, cravings, or metabolic concerns.
Root Cause Medicine
Why is the weight gain happening in the first place?
We look into the root causes of weight gain—such as insulin resistance, thyroid dysfunction, hormonal changes like perimenopause or PCOS, stress, or inflammation—through thorough labs. This informs a tailored plan aligned with your physiology, routine, and objectives.
Weight is merely one element—Dr. Mila empowers you to feel confident and thrive from the inside out.
Weight Management - Lasting Habits
With Dr. Mila, we begin with core weight loss foundations—customized diet strategies, lifestyle adjustments, focused exercise, evidence-based supplements, and insulin sensitivity optimization—to foster lasting habits, no medications required.
Weight Management - Other Therapies
When appropriate, we may integrate GLP-1 therapies with targeted protocols to maintain muscle mass and metabolic health. No fad diets, quick fixes, or judgment—only reliable science, straightforward expectations, and attentive guidance.

What is Naturopathic Medicine?
Naturopathic medicine—a licensed primary care field in British Columbia—integrates advanced diagnostics and natural modalities to unlock your body's inherent healing capacity, following core princaples like root-cause resolution, safety first, and preventive care. We prioritize treating underlying drivers over mere symptom relief, employing nutrition, lifestyle tweaks, supplements, herbs, medications, and beyond to enhance vitality and resolve persistent challenges such as hormone imbalances, digestive woes, exhaustion, and more.
In British Columbia, Naturopathic Doctors are licensed as primary care providers regulated by the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC). They must complete at least three years of pre-medical postsecondary education, followed by a four-year naturopathic medical degree from a CCHPBC-recognized accredited school, pass the Naturopathic Physicians Licensing Exams (NPLEX) administered by NABNE, and successfully complete the College's jurisprudence, oral, and practical licensing/board exams.
What to expect at your visit?
Initial 60-minute consultations include in-depth health history reviews, lab analysis, and fully personalized treatment plans. Follow-ups (15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes) adapt to your progress. We typically schedule your first follow-up 3-4 weeks after the initial visit. Appointments are available in person, via telemedicine, or phone.
